The entire garden is designed, and implemented, by Constantin, using Permaculture. This method allows a diversity of healthy trees, fruit, shrubs, flowers, vegetables and herbs to grow both in harmony and ecologically. Spring signals the time for planting, seeding, weeding and the harvesting of fresh herbs. At the EcoCostel garden, in addition to the diversity of plants, trees and shrubs that we can see and taste the fruits, we can also smell many kinds of aromas that come from herbs and plants such as sage, rosemary, lavender, melissa, mint, fennel, oregano, borago and many others including the flowers. EcoKostel, this can become possible with the help of Constantin. He uses the Finnish traditional sauna often for health reasons, it helps to improve our immune system, it cleanse our body from toxins, improves circulation, and as an added benefit, the skin becomes soft and young. Most guests EcoKostel in the winter are happy to add this service to their stay as the owner offers services that are not charged, we appreciate if you only can support us with a donation. Ecotourism I discovered this activity four years ago and now it has become my lifestyle. I like to meet people from around the world when they are in my area. All this became real to me using a social network called Couchsurfing, it is a community for travelers and tourists. I liked this idea and I became an active member hosting people who were traveling to this side of Moldova. In my first months of Couchsurfing my English was at a beginner level then after one year, it improved to the level of advanced. This was a great opportunity for me to learn new things and to understand other people’s cultures. Knowledge of the English language has helped me to learn new information from different people who visit me from different places around the world.
